We are currently looking for a small number of key academic colleague(s) to join our growing Marketing Group as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer or Professor on a Teaching and Research (T&R) or Teaching and Scholarship (T&S) contract.

Joining our marketing academics within the Division of Management Sciences and Marketing, (MSM), you will have a PhD and interests and expertise in digital marketing and/or digital marketing analytics teaching and/or research.

You may also have digital marketing related interests and experience in a sub-area of Marketing, for example: Consumer Behaviour; B2B Marketing; Retail Marketing; Services Marketing; Social Marketing; Marketing Communications, Advertising and Branding; International Marketing.

AMBS is interested in those who have both experience of creating programmes for enhancing teaching quality and the learning experience, and also active researchers, who will be expected to make a research contribution to the Division and School. For T&R colleagues, this necessarily includes the ability to produce papers in leading international, peer-reviewed journals and they will deliver an exciting, original research agenda in their cognate discipline. For T&S colleagues it involves innovating to improve teaching quality and producing and publishing teaching related materials.

If applying for a Teaching and Scholarship post applicants will possess a portfolio of teaching innovation and a record of teaching related scholarship activity and outputs.

Once appointed, the post-holder’s portfolio of work will reflect the needs of the division and the School as well as their particular areas of interest and expertise.

The successful candidate will demonstrate ability to deliver excellent teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Any member of academic staff joining us will be encouraged to make teaching contributions at a variety of levels, including undergraduate, MSc, MBA and possibly doctoral level.

There may also be opportunities for teaching and additional earning at the executive level and on our Global MBA programme. A PhD is a requirement to apply for the post.
