The Department of Marketing in the College of Business at Florida Atlantic University seeks up to two tenure-track professors (open rank) of Marketing for employment starting Fall 2022.  The Department of Marketing is deeply committed to a community of excellence, equity, and diversity and welcomes applications from women, underrepresented minorities, persons with disabilities, sexual minority groups, and other candidates who will contribute to the diversification and enrichment of ideas and perspectives.

Responsibilities:  The successful candidate will teach marketing in both undergraduate and graduate programs, including MBA and doctoral programs; must maintain an active program of research and publication; and will participate in appropriate service to the department, college, university, community, and profession. Emphasis will be placed on producing scholarly research in top-tier peer-reviewed marketing and business journals.

Minimum Qualifications:Required:
An earned doctorate in marketing from an AACSB-accredited university by the effective date of employment.

Strong commitment to quality scholarly research.

Demonstrated record of excellence in teaching at an AACSB-accredited university.

To be hired at the associate or professor level, candidates must additionally possess a publication record sufficient for promotion and tenure at a higher-research activity doctoral-granting university.

Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Demonstrates and supports a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Passionate about working in an organization that values and promotes diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism.

Preferred:
A demonstrated record of acceptances or publications in peer-reviewed academic journals.

Experience and interest in research and/or teaching in either digital/social media marketing, marketing data analytics/quantitative analysis, personal selling/sales management, or marketing strategy. However, all areas of teaching and research focus will be considered.

Certification or experience teaching in fully online or hybrid delivery platforms.
