Basic Function:The Department of Marketing & Entrepreneurship at Kent State University invites applications for a tenure track (TT) Assistant Professor position beginning August, 2022. The minimum requirements for the position: a doctorate in marketing, or be ABD at the time of application with expected completion no later than August, 2022; evidence of research productivity; skilled in undergraduate teaching and/or have experience of successful completion of relevant, real-world, marketing industry, projects, and endeavors.
Additional Basic Function – if applicable: 
Examples of Duties:Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following: We are primarily interested in candidates with an interest in teaching some combination of: ANOVA and/or Marketing Strategy at the Ph.D. level and Customer Analysis, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Communications, and/or Sales at the undergraduate level. Involvement with Ph.D. students is expected, including participation in our PhD mentorship program. MBA teaching may also be an option. The Department faculty has created innovative undergraduate curricula, and we seek individuals interested in supporting these programs. The position requires continual publication of research at high-level journals in Marketing or related fields.

Minimum Qualifications:A Ph.D. in Marketing by August, 2022, is preferred.  Candidates must be ABD in Marketing.  
Preferred Qualifications – if applicable:Willingness and ability to teach ANOVA at the Ph.D. level.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
