The Marketing Department at Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) invites applications for a full-time assistant, associate, or full professor position beginning in the Fall of 2022.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must possess a Doctoral degree in Marketing or be in the final stage of their doctoral studies.

They must demonstrate their ability to teach sales management/negotiation in B2B and B2C contexts to various audiences. Related areas include sales intelligence, customer relationship management (CRM), etc. Prior knowledge of French is not required since GEM offers many teaching opportunities in English. However, training is offered to foreign faculty interested in learning French.

Candidates should also demonstrate their commitment and ability to conduct academic research in sales management/negotiation (and related areas) and publish in quality scholarly journals. Senior candidates should have an established international research record and network; junior candidates should demonstrate the potential to develop a good-level research agenda.

CONDITIONS

For faculty with a significant academic research output, the teaching load at GEM varies between 120 and 180 face-to-face hours per academic year (additional reduction for those new to teaching). It is adjusted based on publication and service to the school.

Resources for faculty include a research budget, a Ph.D. program, a behavioral lab, a subject pool, and several simulated environments for experiments (a connected shop, a food store, a retail store, a connected street, and home spaces).

Salary is competitive according to European standards, with an additional publication- based bonus system and compensation for relocation expenses.

Support includes teaching and research assistantship and a team dedicated to external research grants application and management.
