| Position Summary | The Heller College of Business (HCB) at Roosevelt University (Chicago, Illinois) seeks applications for a tenure-track Marketing faculty member at the Assistant Professor rank to start in Fall 2022. We are interested in adding depth to the Marketing and Decision Sciences department, which offers coursework in marketing at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at our downtown Chicago, suburban Schaumburg, and online campuses. The successful candidate will be able to teach a variety of courses in marketing, including courses in marketing strategy, digital marketing, social media marketing, and consumer behavior. The HCB values excellence in teaching and student support, but also requires a commitment to research, curriculum development and service. Roosevelt has over 4200 total students and over 120 degree programs. With a strong faculty of teachers and scholars, the Heller College of Business at Roosevelt University is a leader in developing a diverse population of business professionals to serve in a wide array of positions in industry. The College offers both undergraduate and graduate programs in business across two campus locations: in the heart of downtown Chicago (Loop), in suburban Schaumburg, as well as online. The HCB is a teaching-focused college that supports Roosevelt University’s mission of promoting social justice and civic responsibility. The College has over 25 full-time faculty who specialize in teaching & research across a wide variety of business disciplines. Currently the College has about 800 students across its campuses, with approximately 40% at the graduate level. The HCB’s undergraduate and graduate business programs are accredited by the ACBSP. The College maintains an advisory board consisting of over 25 industry leaders from major organizations firms who are actively involved in the College’s advancement. | Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required | Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent terminal degree in Marketing or related field from a fully accredited institution (ABD applicants are acceptable if completion of PhD is imminent). Applicants must also have demonstrated evidence of successful teaching, involvement in high-quality research, refereed publications, and involvement in professional service. Preference will be given for candidates with expertise and demonstrated practical experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, quantitative and/or qualitative marketing research, and business analytics. |
