Position SummaryThe Heller College of Business (HCB) at Roosevelt University (Chicago, Illinois) seeks applications for a tenure-track Marketing faculty member at the Assistant Professor rank to start in Fall 2022.  We are interested in adding depth to the Marketing and Decision Sciences department, which offers coursework in marketing at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at our downtown Chicago, suburban Schaumburg, and online campuses.  The successful candidate will be able to teach a variety of courses in marketing, including courses in marketing strategy, digital marketing, social media marketing, and consumer behavior.  The HCB values excellence in teaching and student support, but also requires a commitment to research, curriculum development and service.

The College maintains an advisory board consisting of over 25 industry leaders from major organizations firms who are actively involved in the College’s advancement.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities RequiredApplicants must hold a PhD or equivalent terminal degree in Marketing or related field from a fully accredited institution (ABD applicants are acceptable if completion of PhD is imminent). 

Applicants must also have demonstrated evidence of successful teaching, involvement in high-quality research, refereed publications, and involvement in professional service.

Preference will be given for candidates with expertise and demonstrated practical experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, quantitative and/or qualitative marketing research, and business analytics.
