Position Summary:

The School of Management and Marketing invites those with potential for excellence in research and experience teaching the following courses – Consumer Behavior, Data Analytics, Social Media and Digital Marketing Strategy, and Promotion/Product Strategy.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research – Maintain an active program of research publishable in leading journals. 
  • Teaching – Both undergraduate and/or graduate level courses. Typical teaching load for research active tenure-track faculty is six credit hours (2 courses) per semester.
  • Service – Engage in appropriate service to the Department, College, University, and profession. Serve on dissertation committees.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Earned Doctorate in Marketing or related field from an AACSB-accredited university at the effective date of employment of 8/16/2022. If all PhD requirements have not completed by August 15, 2022, a one-year term appointment at the rank of Instructor, at a lower salary, will be offered in accordance with University policy (https://policies.siu.edu/personnel-policies/chapter2/ch2faps/conting.php).
  2. Evidence of teaching at an AACSB-accredited university.
  3. Evidence of research in Consumer Behavior.
