John Cabot University, an accredited American four-year liberal arts university in Rome, Italy, seeks a full-time Marketing professor for a two-year appointment with the possibility for tenure. The level of appointment (Assistant/Associate/Full professor) will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

The selected candidate will teach three undergraduate courses per semester in areas such as Consumer Behavior, Promotional Strategies, E-marketing, Service Marketing, International Marketing, and Marketing Research. The candidate should possess strong quantitative skills, demonstrated excellence in teaching and research, knowledge of recent market trends including those coming from new technological developments and digitalization, and the desire to work in a collaborative international environment.

The candidate will also be expected to carry out administrative duties for the University. For instance, the candidate will be requested to participate in events (e.g., open days, fairs), and departmental and academic meetings, to advise students, mentor alumni, and actively contribute to a collaborative and inclusive community.

Credentials required are a doctoral degree (or ABD) in Marketing, or a related field with a strong focus on Marketing. Candidates are required to be fluent in English, which is the language of instruction. The ideal candidate will have experience with the American liberal arts tradition.
