The Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in marketing, to begin Fall of 2022.  The position targets candidates for the position of Assistant Professor; but, applicants with appropriate experience may apply for the position of Associate Professor. 

Responsibilities will include a regular teaching load, an active program of scholarship and full participation in department, school and university service. 

The position will be housed in the Department of Marketing but will also support our new MBA in Sport and Entertainment Management (MBA SEM).  The MBA SEM program is an exciting new partnership with leading Seattle sport industry organizations to bring diversity to the leadership ranks of the sport and entertainment sectors. In addition to teaching courses in the MBA SEM program such as Sport Consumer Behavior and Sport and Entertainment Marketing, this position will also support our partnership efforts.  The teaching load is expected to be split evenly between the MBA SEM program and the normal department course offerings.  Scholarship and experience in the Sport and Entertainment field are also attractive assets for candidates.

Qualifications

ABD or PhD in Marketing or related field by Fall 2022; teaching experience; and current research portfolio.
