Job Description:

The Department of Business Administration at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Marketing.  For candidates with appropriate academic teaching experience, assistant or associate rank will also be considered.  This is a tenure-track position within the AACSB-accredited W. Fielding Rubel School of Business, located in Centro Hall.

This faculty member will be responsible for teaching courses in the undergraduate Business Administration program, including Principles of Marketing and in the weekend, weeknight, and  MBA programs including the required marketing course and electives in connection with the MBA emphasis in Marketing.  Teaching load is 21 credit hours per year (9-month) for tenure track faculty. Candidates should demonstrate effectiveness in teaching and scholarship. The position will begin August 2022.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing; Candidates who are “ABD” will be considered as long as the degree is completed prior to start date.
  • Ability to teach Introduction to Business, Marketing electives and Principles of Management is a plus.
