Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Position in Marketing

The Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Marketing. We will consider strong candidates conducting research in all areas of Marketing and that meet the “Belk College Policy on Qualified Faculty Status,” but preference will be given to candidatesstrong in Digital Marketing and Marketing Analytics.

We are looking for a diligent and collegial academic with records of strong scholarship and excellent teaching and professional service potential. The candidate should be committed to supporting the College’s mission as a major urban research business school. A Ph.D. in Marketing or closely related field from an accredited school is required. A strong commitment to excellence in high-quality research, teaching, and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate levels is expected. The ability to teach digital marketing- related graduate courses in online mode will be considered a major plus. Other desired requirements include an ability to contribute to diversity initiatives.

The teaching load will be 2-1 until conferral of tenure and salary are competitive with similar positions at other research universities. The starting date will be August 2022. The position is contingent on final budgetary approval.
