The School of Management (Escuela de Administración) at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (in Santiago) invites applications for a full-time position as either Assistant or Associate Professor in any relevant area of Marketing. The starting date could be January or August 2022.

The School of Management has international accreditations by AACSB and EFMD (EQUIS) and has about 3,000 students enrolled in undergraduate and post-graduate programs, as well as in Executive Education. Requirements

The successful candidate will be a member of one of the most important schools of management in Chile. As such, he/she will benefit from the School’s leadership position as Chile’s principal training institution for business students, with high-quality programs and research centers in various management areas. The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Ph.D. (or near completion) in Marketing or closely related fields
  • A demonstrated capacity to develop and communicate high-quality research in marketing topics and a good record of publications (for candidates applying to Associate Professor).
  • Commitment to excellence in undergraduate and post-graduate teaching in Marketing, as well as student supervision and
  • Capacity and willingness to work collaboratively in an inter-disciplinary environment and engage in activities that show good

Qualified candidates with expertise and interest in any marketing area are encouraged to apply and should include the following as part of the application package:

  • A personal statement (1 or 2 pages) on how the candidate meets the criteria for the post with relevant skills, abilities, experience, and knowledge.

In the case of a non-Chilean nationality, the successful candidate will need to have the corresponding visa, obtained at the consulate from the country of origin, for incorporation into the plant academic of the University.
