The Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship invites applications for a tenure-track position to join the college’s Marketing Option at the Assistant or Associate Professor level starting in January or August 2022. We seek candidates who are excellent in imparting state-of-the-art marketing knowledge to a socioeconomically, geographically, and increasingly ethnically diverse student body. The successful candidate will teach a variety of courses in the marketing area, carrying a load of five sections per academic year. In addition, candidates are expected to publish in top journals. The current cohort of tenure track faculty has published in journals such as Journal of Consumer PsychologyEuropean Journal of MarketingJournal of Public Policy & MarketingIndustrial Marketing ManagementJournal of Consumer Affairs, and the Journal of Business Research, among others. The Marketing program provides a strong quantitative path in marketing to its students, while also offering a classic marketing program that remains current with important trends. Therefore, a successful candidate must be able to teach with high quality a variety of marketing courses and topics at the undergraduate level, and possibly as part of the college’s new Master of Science in Innovation and Management program. Candidates with experience, interests, and scholarship in digital marketing and analytics are particularly encouraged to apply. The Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship offers a B.S. in Business with options in Accounting, Finance, Management, and Marketing, an M.S. in Innovation and Management, and a Master of Professional Accountancy degree. The College has 28 tenure-track faculty who are augmented by an experienced group of professionally qualified instructors. Required qualifications:
1. Ph.D. or D.B.A. degree with emphasis in Marketing or a closely related field by start date from an AACSB-accredited university.
2. Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing supporting the business major.
3. For assistant professor rank, potential to carry on a successful program of scholarly research resulting in publication in respected peer-reviewed journals. For associate professor rank, demonstrated ability to publish in respected peer- reviewed journals.
