Hawai‘i Pacific University (HPU) seeks an innovative leader who can build strong connections between the school and the island’s business community as well as advance the reputation and performance of its academic programs.
HPU is a private, not-for-profit institution of approximately 4,200 students with a full-time equivalent enrollment of 2,798 undergraduates and 376 graduate students. Founded in 1965, it is Hawai‘i’s largest private university with its core campus in the heart of Honolulu’s business district. HPU’s investment in the urban student experience translates to greater hands-on experiences for students, expanded interdisciplinary collaboration between colleges and programs, and deeper engagement with the community of Honolulu and the state of Hawai‘i. As one of the most diverse higher education institutions in the nation and with its central location in the Asia Pacific region, HPU is uniquely positioned in American business education.

The next Dean will draw upon their experience working with the business community to establish the HPU College of Business as the “go to” partner for advice, counsel and development of innovative programs.
