Position Summary:The Department of Marketing & Business Law in the Villanova School of Business at Villanova University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Marketing at the rank of Assistant Professor with a start date in Fall 2022 semester. Initial interviews are expected to be conducted virtually beginning in late August 2021. 

We seek candidates who can teach with high quality and impact in the broadly defined area of marketing. Candidates who have the potential to contribute to teaching in digital marketing or marketing research are especially encouraged to apply. Capability to support the marketing curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate levels based on department needs is expected. 

We seek faculty who are motivated by the pursuit of high-quality scholarly research. Summer support, conference travel and research assistance are available. Faculty have access to the Center for Marketing and Consumer Insights as well as an on-site behavioral research lab. Our collegial department is home to twelve full-time faculty members. Our faculty distinguish themselves as journal editors and associate editors as well as authors of high-quality publications in outlets including Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, Journal of Advertising and Journal of Consumer Psychology, among others. 

Villanova School of Business is regularly recognized as one of the top undergraduate and graduate programs in the U.S. Poets&Quants recognized Villanova School of Business as the #12 undergraduate program. U.S. News & World Report ranked the online graduate business programs as #3 in the country.

Duties and Responsibilities:VSB is committed to both high-quality scholarly research and teaching excellence. In addition to maintaining an active research agenda leading to high-quality publications, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels is expected as assigned. Service is commensurate with expectations of a junior faculty member. 
Minimum Qualifications:Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field by August 2022. 
Preferred Qualifications:Applicants should demonstrate a strong potential for high-quality research. Teaching experience in any area of marketing (broadly defined) are welcome. Applicants with the potential to contribute to the curriculum in digital marketing or marketing research are especially encouraged to apply.
