The Marketing Department at the Mendoza College of Business, University of Notre Dame, invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor. This appointment is expected to begin in Fall 2022. We do expect that you complete doctoral degree requirements in Marketing or a related field before the start of the contract period. About the Marketing Department

The Marketing Department in the Mendoza College of Business includes tenured, tenure-track, and instructional faculty with expertise and research interests spanning marketing strategy, consumer behavior, digital marketing, quantitative marketing, marketing for the common good, marketing ethics, public policy and emerging markets. The Marketing Department is home to a diversity of approaches making for a vibrant research environment. Our faculty have won several prestigious research awards in recent years. The department also includes post-doctoral researchers and affiliated faculty. A number of faculty in other departments within Mendoza have related research interests.

We do expect that you complete doctoral degree requirements in Marketing or a related field before the start of the contract period.

Application Instructions

Applications for the Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Position should include: 1) a cover letter indicating the candidate’s research and teaching interests, 2) a curriculum vitae, 3) representative research papers, 4) evidence of teaching effectiveness (if available), and 5) recommendation letters from three professional referees. The search committee intends to review applications immediately. The application deadline for the position at the Assistant Professor level is July 25, 2021. This appointment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
