Job Description:

The Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas seeks to fill an open rank (rank based on qualifications) non-tenure system faculty position in the Marketing area. In addition to developing and teaching courses in areas related to retail management, retail strategy, and retail innovation in both undergraduate and graduate programs, the successful candidate will also serve as the Director of the Retail Innovation and Strategy Excellence (RISE) Center. The Director’s main responsibilities include managing relations with the Center’s Advisory Board, designing and promoting conferences and various practitioner and student programs, obtaining funding for the Center, assisting the undergraduate Marketing program with internships and elite programs, and supervision of the Center’s daily operation.

Candidates with a PhD degree in a related field and relevant business school teaching and center management experience are preferred, but those with relevant master’s or terminal degrees and 8 or more years of industry experience in managerial or leadership roles pertaining to retail innovation will also be considered.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Terminal degree in Marketing or Business and at least 8 years of industry experience in managerial or leadership roles pertaining to retail innovation is required.
