Newberry College seeks a creative, collaborative individual for a full-time, tenure-track faculty appointment beginning August 2021. Responsibilities include recruiting students and teaching a series of Public Relations and Digital Marketing courses to a diverse population in a liberal arts environment. Newberry College strives to prepare students for meaningful vocation and global citizenship after graduation. Salary and rank offered will be commensurate with experience.

Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Master’s in Public Relations, Strategic Communications, Integrated Marketing Communications or related field, Ph.D. preferred
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Student-centered, mentoring orientation
  • Applied learning or project-based learning experience
  • Professional experience in strategic communication and/or digital marketing
