The Department of Business Administration at the University of Vienna invites applications for a University Assistant (postdoc) at its Marketing research group (Prof. Christoph Fuchs).

Duration of employment: 6 year/s

Extent of Employment: 40 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: ยง48 VwGr. B1 lit. b (postdoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.

Job Description: 
The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching and research activities of the Marketing research group with a focus on Consumer Behavior and Consumer Psychology, Marketing and Technology.
1. Active participation in research, teaching and administration
2. Developing and strengthening the independent research profile
3. Involvement in research projects and research studies
4. International publications and presentations
5. Responsibility for project applications and the acquisition of third-party funding
6. Preparing/writing a habilitation thesis
7. Independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement and supervision of students
8. Participation in evaluation measures and quality assurance
9. Involvement in the department administration as well as in teaching and research administration

Profile:
Doctorate/PhD in Business Administration or related field such as Psychology, Behavioral Economics, Statistics, or Computer Science. Teaching and research interest in the field of Marketing, excellent command of written and spoken English. Excellent skills in writing and statistics (e.g., SPSS, STATA, R, etc.). Experience in the design and analyses of experiments (lab and field experiments).

In addition, we expect the successful candidate to have:
Publications in leading journals (or working papers, papers in the review process),
Teaching experience,
International experience,
ideally programming skills (e.g. Python)
