Position: Guanghua Thought Leadership Research Fellow in Behavioral Marketing,Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, China (https://www.gsm.pku.edu.cn/ghsxlyw/index.htm)

Location: Beijing, China

Job description: You are expected to work with our behavioral marketing faculty(Jia Gai, Yanping Tu, Jing Xu, Ying Zhang), advance your own research initiatives, and assist with lab operations. This position is ideal for behavioral researchers who aspire to contribute to marketing and to get prepared fora marketing faculty career. Outstanding research fellows can be hired fortenure-track positions in Guanghua School of Management or other departments in Peking University.

Qualifications

1. Applicants should have earned a PhD degree(for no more than 3 years prior to thestart of the position)in Marketing, (Social) Psychology, Judgment and Decision Making, Behavioral Science, or related fields, by the time theystart of the position.

2. Applicants should be highly familiar with multiple behavioral research methods (e.g., lab experiment, field experiment, secondary data analysis), have demonstrated potential in generating high-quality research ideas, and be intellectuallycurious about managerial problems.

Compensation and benefits

1. Research fellows will receive an annual salary of 310,000RMB (approximately $48.2K, paid monthly) and a research fund of 50,000RMB (approximately $7.8K). This is a 3-year position, but it can be extended to 4 years based on performance.

2. Research fellows can receive research awards based on publications.

3. Research fellows can apply for additional research grantsfrom the Post-doctoral Science Fundof Chinaand from the Guanghua Thought Leadership research program.

4. Research fellows will receive welfare benefits from Peking University, including housing provident fund, endowment insurance, public medical care, etc.

6. Research fellows will be provided with an office, a computer, a telephone, and other necessary equipment and services.
