OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY, SPEARS SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, Tenure Track Faculty Position

Position: The Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University invites applications for a tenure track position in marketing at the rank of assistant professor. New assistant professors are given minimal service assignments and generous summer support to allow them to develop their research programs. Salary is competitive for a comprehensive research university.

Qualifications: Candidates should hold or anticipate holding a Ph.D. in marketing or a related field with evidence of outstanding research and teaching. Any candidate must also be able to work well in a collegial environment.

Marketing Department: Research is highly valued in the School of Marketing and International Business. The department consists of 17 faculty members (including 13 tenure-track faculty members). Our faculty members publish in the best marketing and consumer research journals as well as in strong area journals and in the journals of adjacent disciplines. They serve as editors and editorial board members of well-known journals. Key substantive areas of interest for our faculty members include public policy and marketing (and the affiliated Spears Center for Social and Business Impact), organizational frontline marketing management (and the affiliated Center for Sales and Service Excellence), and other areas. We are especially interested in candidates whose research would align with our new Spears Center for Social and Business Impact, but that is not a requirement. Senior faculty members are committed to working with junior faculty members and supporting their success.
