Assistant Teaching Professor or Assistant Lecturer

Job Summary:

Assistant Teaching Professor or Assistant Lecturer (non tenure-track position) starting Fall Semester of 2021. This position will coordinate and teach multiple sections of introductory and/or intermediate Business Analytics courses at the undergraduate level in the Farmer School of Business; thoughtfully mentor teaching faculty in the introductory/intermediate Business Analytics courses; advise students in the undergraduate Business Analytics programs; teach additional classes in the Business Analytics programs as needed; participate in service activities within the Information Systems & Analytics Department and the Farmer School of Business, including recruiting qualified students into the Business Analytics majors and collaborating with industry advisory board.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree for rank of Assistant Lecturer or doctorate for rank of Assistant Teaching Professor in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field by the time of appointment.

Desired Qualifications:

Consideration may be given to candidates with experience teaching in a business school and engaging with students in professional skills such as problem solving, technical writing, coding, written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated enthusiasm for student advising, student success and student-centered service activities such as extracurricular advising and course development.
