Responsibilities: Mercer University’s Stetson-Hatcher School of Business (AACSB accredited) invites applications for a full-time tenure track Faculty of Management or Marketing position on Mercer’s Macon campus beginning August 2021. Candidates should have demonstrated research capabilities and strong teaching effectiveness. Primary duties include teaching 3 courses (at both the undergraduate and graduate level) per semester, teaching project-based courses using current tools of the industry, connecting students with industry professionals, mentoring students, publishing in peer-reviewed academic journals, and participating in school or university committees. A successful candidate is expected to be willing to teach strategic management and entrepreneurship courses within Mercer’s fast growing undergraduate and graduate programs. Ideal candidates will have the ability and/or willingness to teach online or in a face-to-face format. Areas of expertise most needed are entrepreneurship and strategy in either marketing or management. 

Qualifications: A Ph.D. in management or marketing or a related area from an accredited college university is required. ABD candidates will be considered at the rank of Instructor until Ph.D. is obtained. Preference will be given to candidates with degrees in Management or Marketing with a secondary focus area in Entrepreneurship, and a demonstrated ability or potential to publish in quality peer-reviewed academic journals. Recent entrepreneurial/industry experience is highly desirable. Pay Rate: Commensurate with experience
