9-Month Tenure-Track Positions

The AACSB accredited College of Business at Louisiana State University Shreveport seeks applications for tenure-track positions from versatile, qualified scholars at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to begin in August of 2021. These are existing positions with dedicated funding resulting from strong and persistent growth in the College of Business enrollment. These positions will report to one of the four Department Chairs in the College of Business. These are new positions with dedicated funding resulting from strong and persistent growth in the College of Business enrollment. Applications will be considered from all business disciplines for individuals who meet our AACSB qualifications to teach in one of the College of Business degree areas. Preference will be given to qualified applicants who can teach/research in multiple areas aligning with our degree programs, areas of specializations, and areas of concentrations. Areas of greatest need include Management and Marketing. 

Requirements:

Applicants should have a terminal degree in a business discipline or closely related area from an accredited institution, with a degree from an institution with an AACSB accredited program. Candidates with degrees from universities which do not hold AACSB accreditation will not be considered. The selected applicants will be expected to teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Face-to-face and online teaching are both expected. Candidates will be expected to produce scholarship at a level consistent with our AACSB Scholarly Academic standards.
