We are a triple accredited, innovative, world class school, providing cutting-edge business and management education to undergraduates, postgraduates, experienced practitioners and those with academic and research ambitions.

We are currently looking for an academic member of staff to join our Marketing Group as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer on a Teaching and Research (T&R) or Teaching and Scholarship (T&S) contract. Joining our marketing academics within the Division of Management Sciences and Marketing, (MSM), you should have interests and expertise in a sub-area of Marketing, for example: Consumer Behaviour; B2B Marketing; Retail Marketing; Services Marketing; Social Marketing; Marketing Communications, Advertising and Branding; International Marketing. AMBS is interested in those who have both experience of creating programmes for enhancing teaching quality and the learning experience and also active researchers, who will be expected to make a research contribution to the Division and School. For T&R colleagues, this necessarily includes the ability to produce papers in leading international, peer-reviewed journals. For T&S colleagues it involves innovating to improve teaching quality and producing and publishing teaching related materials.

Any member of academic staff joining us will be encouraged to make teaching contributions at a variety of levels, including undergraduate, MSc, MBA and possibly doctoral level. There may also be scope for teaching and additional earning at the executive level and on our Global MBA programme. A  PhD (or equivalent) is a requirement to apply for the post.

The University of Manchester is committed to building a culturally diverse institution where all staff and students can flourish and feel valued for their contribution and individuality.  Our policies and practices are designed to encourage talented people, whatever their background, to work and study here.

As an equal opportunities employer we welcome applicants from all sections of the community regardless of age, sex, gender, gender expression, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation and transgender status.  At Senior Lecturer level, we particularly welcome applications from women, who are currently under-represented at this grade.
