The Department of Marketing in the Powers College of Business at Clemson University is seeking applications for a full-time tenure track position at the Assistant or advanced-Assistant Professor level beginning in August 2021 (or later if necessary). Salary is competitive.

Qualifications

All candidates must obtain or already have either a marketing or business doctoral degree before beginning their appointment.

Research and teaching emphasis in professional sales or sales management is required. All candidates are expected to be committed to teaching and research of the highest quality.

The ideal candidate will have an established stream of research and demonstrate a strong interest for teaching sales classes. In addition, a willingness to be actively involved in student and industry activities associated with Clemson’s Sales Innovation Program is necessary. In line with this, criteria for evaluating candidates will include college-level teaching experiences, publications on sales-related research, relevant business experience, and evidence of interactions with the business community.
