Behavioral Postdoc Position at NC State University (starting Summer/Fall 2021)

The NC State University Poole College of Management and Wilson College of Textiles are seeking candidates with an interest in behavioral research for a new postdoc position starting in the Summer/Fall of 2021. The position is funded by a recent grant award that will examine the development of a transparency mechanism to promote ethical production in apparel supply chains. The grant is 3 years and funded by the Templeton World Charity Foundation.

The position is a 2-year postdoc. The postdoc’s primary duties will involve working with a faculty member to study how best to communicate ethical production practices to consumers and to examine consumers’ valuations and perceptions of transparency.

Applicants must have experience conducting high-quality, empirical research. A background in behavioral research (designing, conducting, and analyzing online, lab/field studies), econometric methods, as well as, a knowledge of R, Stata, or an equivalent statistical software package is required. An interest in sustainability related and/or supply chain related research is preferred but not required.
