Position SummaryThe Department of Marketing, Information & Decision Science (MIDS) at the Anderson School of Management is seeking to fill the position of a full-time Professor of Practice in Marketing to begin August 2021.The Anderson School of Management is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International and is one of the few programs in the world to attain both an Accounting and Business Accreditation from AACSB. We offer BBA and MBA degrees in 12 concentrations as well as an Executive MBA for working professionals and an MBA in Education Leadership. With over 21,000 alumni, Anderson alums can be found having an impact in their communities all over the world. The marketing faculty supports existing BBA and MBA programs in marketing, dual concentration BBA and MBA degrees in marketing and operations management, and courses in the data analytics track for the MS-ISA degree program.
The successful candidate will have a normal teaching load of three classes per semester. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing. Candidates with a doctorate in marketing or a related area such as operations management, information systems management, communications media or advertising are encouraged to apply, with special consideration given to candidates with professional experience or interest in teaching marketing data analytics, including customer, web, or digital and social media analytics, and cross functional courses related to marketing.

QualificationsList both the minimum and preferred qualifications within this text box.Minimum Qualifications:Applicants must possess an earned doctorate or have strong prospect for completing a doctorate in marketing or a closely related field from an accredited institution by August 2021.Preferred Qualifications:Evidence of or promise of maintaining a program of research and scholarship, such as publications in peer-reviewed journals, refereed conference proceedings and presentations, or other academic publications.Evidence of excellence or promise of achieving excellence in teaching marketing core and concentration courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.Ability or interest in teaching online.Ability or interest in marketing data analytics, including customer, web, or digital and social media analytics.Ability or interest in teaching marketing cross functional courses related to operations management and/or management information systems.A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
