The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Commerce in the Marketing Area, beginning August 2025.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Marketing or a related discipline and have at least 2 years of full-time teaching experience after earning their PhD. Candidates must have growth potential to publish in the field’s top marketing journals (e.g., Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Marketing Science), as well as perform at a high level in the classroom and the interest to make internal service contributions. The Marketing Area welcomes applicants of any specialty, however, candidates with a strong background in teaching marketing principles, marketing research, and/or analytics-based courses are especially encouraged to apply.
