Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track Marketing faculty position starting in Fall 2025. The position is open to behavioral and quantitative researchers at the advanced assistant or associate level.
One of the strengths of the Marketing Area at the McDonough School of Business is a focus on the consumer as the unit of analysis across methodologies. Whether faculty conduct quantitative analyses, build analytical models, or conduct experiments, the marketing faculty at the McDonough School shares an interest in consumer-level data, which facilitates collaboration using multiple methods. The Marketing Area is currently composed of 12 tenure-track faculty and four non-tenure line faculty (see https://msb.georgetown.edu/faculty-research/marketing/). The McDonough School of Business has an ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion as a fundamental aspect of the Georgetown community.
The McDonough School of Business is committed to and promotes a strong research culture. We seek applicants who are dedicated to publishing their research in A-level journals, teaching effectively at both graduate and undergraduate levels, and contributing to the future growth of the school. Necessary support for research and professional development will be provided.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in marketing or a related discipline.

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position is $150,000 – $200,000, which represents the full range of anticipated compensation for this position. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
