Position: The Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in marketing at the rank of Assistant Professor. New assistant professors are given minimal service assignments, reduced teaching loads (50 % research, 40% teaching, 10% service) and generous summer support to allow them to develop their research programs. Salary is competitive for a comprehensive research university and contingent on available funding.

Qualifications: Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in marketing or a related field.

The Department: Research is highly valued in the School of Marketing and International Business and is expected of our tenure-track faculty members. The department consists of 21 faculty positions (with this hire, we will have 14 tenure-track faculty members). We publish in the best marketing and consumer research journals as well as in strong area journals and in the journals of adjacent disciplines. Key substantive areas of interest for our faculty members include public policy and marketing, organizational frontline marketing management, and other important areas. The department provides direct academic leadership and courses in both marketing and international business, with over 1200 undergraduate students with majors in these areas. Our tenure-track faculty members teach at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels.
