Job summary

The Marketing group at Imperial College Business School is seeking applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor positions in Marketing. Applicants can be from any research area in marketing (e.g. empirical modelling, analytics, consumer behaviour, strategy, etc.). The positions require a high level of potential in and passion for research, as demonstrated by a strong job market paper and a promising research pipeline.

Located in the heart of London, Imperial College Business School offers an attractive research environment and competitive salaries. Research in the marketing group is interdisciplinary and regularly published in top tier journals in marketing and related fields (e.g., Journal of MarketingMarketing Science, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, etc.).

Duties and responsibilities

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated researcher and is expected to contribute to the school by publishing in top academic journals and teaching courses. Salaries are internationally competitive, research support is generous, and teaching requirements are moderate by international standards. The expected start date is 1 September 2021.

Essential requirements

  • A Ph.D. in marketing or related field (completed by the start of the appointment to the position).
  • Strong job market paper
  • Promising research pipeline
  • Ability to teach marketing analytics courses
