JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Marketing Department in the Smeal College of Business, Penn State University (University Park, PA) seeks to fill multiple tenure-track faculty positions (open rank) beginning in Fall 2025. This position requires a PhD in Marketing or a related field, by the start of the appointment to be considered. Experienced applicants who wish to be considered at the Associate or Full level should have an established record of producing high quality, scholarly research published in the top journals in Marketing (e.g., Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Marketing Science ) that is worthy of immediate tenure. Applicants at the Assistant level should have the relevant academic background. Although research focus is open, preference will be given to those in Consumer Behavior and/or Managerial Marketing. Penn State faculty members are expected to pursue an active research program, perform undergraduate and graduate teaching, supervise graduate students, and engage in service activities. Salary and benefits will be competitive and commensurate with the background and experience of the chosen candidate.
