The School of Business at the University of Washington Bothell invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in Marketing beginning on September 16, 2021. The position is full-time (100% FTE) with a nine-month service period, tenure track.

Duties include teaching and developing and maintaining an active research program. The candidate will teach both graduate and undergraduate courses. All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.

The UW Bothell School of Business is accredited by AACSB and is deeply committed to the success of its faculty in research, teaching and service. The School of Business is well known for its undergraduate, MBA and MS Accounting programs. We work closely with industry leaders as well as the smaller, innovative, and rapidly growing companies in software, electronic commerce, medical equipment, biotechnology, electronics, and aerospace. Our programs draw from companies such as Microsoft, Boeing, Costco, Amazon, Expedia, Philips and Starbucks. We also have a facility, the Eastside Leadership Center in Bellevue, WA. All faculty members in the School of Business should expect to teach at both the Bothell and Bellevue locations. We have a sizeable marketing option and concentration, and a small undergraduate program in Retail Management. A doctorate (or equivalent) in Marketing, or a closely related field, is required. Applicants should have a strong analytical background with an ability to teach upper-level undergraduate and MBA courses in marketing intelligence, new product marketing, and marketing analytics, in addition to courses such as marketing management. The candidate will have an active research program with the potential for publication in leading academic journals.
