Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s Department of Management & Marketing in the John Massey School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank. Candidates must be AACSB-qualified to teach in Management or Marketing at the graduate and undergraduate level. Preference will be given to candidates qualified to teach in both areas.

The applicant will teach a 12/9 credit hour load; conduct and publish refereed research in the field of management or marketing, mentor students, and provide service to the department, school, university, community, and profession. Summer teaching has historically been available.

Minimum qualifications for an Assistant Professor position are a Ph. D or DBA in Management or Marketing or relevant field from an AACSB or ACBSP accredited program and a strong potential for and commitment to excellence in research and teaching. ABD candidates will be considered but must complete their degree by the start date. Candidates must have scholarly academic status according to AACSB standards.

Minimum qualifications for an Associate Professor position are a Ph. D or DBA in in Management or Marketing or relevant field from an AACSB or ACBSP accredited program and qualification as Scholarly Academic under AACSB criteria. Additionally, candidates must have a demonstrated record of high-quality research published in academic journals, and excellence in teaching at the graduate and undergraduate level. Tenure is negotiable.

Founded in 1909, Southeastern Oklahoma State University enrolls approximately 5,000 students. The business programs are accredited by AACSB International. The School of Business offers degrees in accounting, finance, management, marketing, general business, and hospitality management and has a well-recognized online MBA program. The university is located in southeast Oklahoma, approximately 90 miles from the Dallas Metro area. The community is close to Lake Texoma and the Choctaw Casino Resort.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The preferred start date is August 1, 2021 and may require multiple campus assignments as well as varied time and delivery methods. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
