Assistant / Associate Professor of Marketing College of Business
The Position: The College of Business is searching for a tenure track Assistant / Associate Professor of Marketing to start in January 2021.
Minimum Qualifications: Must have an earned DBA or PhD in marketing or closely related discipline from a accredited business school. ABDs will be considered; however, the doctorate must be completed by May 15, 2021.
Knowledge/Skills/Ability: We seek a candidate with demonstrated teaching ability in the marketing discipline with the willingness and flexibility to develop a portfolio of teaching expertise in a range of marketing subjects. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with colleagues in a collegial campus community is required. In addition, candidates must have the ability to educate and advise a diverse student population and have previous campus and online teaching experience.
Responsibilities: This tenure-track position carries responsibilities in the areas of teaching, scholarship and service. Faculty members typically teach four sections per semester, advise students, serve on university and college committees and engage in professional development activities. Teaching assignments are based upon qualifications of the individual and the needs of the college.
Salary: Salary commensurate with education and experience.
The College: The College of Business offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with seven emphasis areas: Accounting, Financial Services, Health Care Management, Sports Management, Hospitality Management, IT Management, and Management/Marketing as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Business Administration and a Masters of Science in Management degree. The primary focus of Lander University is teaching and the College of Business emphasizes a student-centered learning environment. The College of Business is accredited by AACSB International.
