SKK GSB (Seoul, Korea) Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Marketing:
SKK GSB (not affiliated with SKKU School of Business) invites applications for tenure-track positions at any rank beginning Fall 2021. Classroom instructions are conducted in English and knowledge of Korean is not required. We are open to candidates in all areas of marketing, but those with interest in teaching analytics related courses are especially encouraged to apply. First round interviews will be conducted via Zoom, qualifying candidates will be invited for campus visit in Spring.
The school offers highly competitive US salaries with attractive support for summer research, off-campus housing, tuition at international school for children, and relocation expenses. Teaching load is low and there are minimal service requirements. The school also provides generous research and travel grants and conference funding. Depending on the tax treaty between your home country and Korea, candidates may be exempt from Korean income tax for a period of two years. The majority of SKK GSB faculty are internationally based and all received their Ph.D. from top-ranked business schools around the world.
All candidates must have a doctoral degree in marketing or related fields (psychology, sociology, economics, etc.) prior to appointment. Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching. Emphasis will be placed on the quality of the applicant’s research output. A proven teaching track record is highly desirable.
