Essential FunctionsThe Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship (M&E) at the College of Business Administration (CBA) at the University of Nebraska as Omaha (UNO) seeks to fill a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Marketing, with primary teaching responsibilities of designing and teaching courses related to Digital / Internet / Social Media Marketing, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The anticipated start date is Fall 2021. We expect the faculty hired for this position to prepare our students with the skills to engage in Digital, Internet, and Social Media Marketing. The ideal faculty member will be well versed within the dynamic field and be committed to contributing related scholarly research. For a suitable candidate, we are also willing to make this a position that focuses instead on Sales and Sales Management.Required Qualifications: PhD (or terminal degree) in Business or related field with focus on Marketing. We are willing to consider applications from ABDs, provided the doctoral degree is completed within one year of starting the position. We are also willing to consider applications from faculty already on tenure track or newly tenured, who are looking for more exciting opportunities. The candidate is required to have some teaching experience (including as a graduate assistant) and a clearly defined research agenda.
