DEPARTMENT OF MARKETING NUS BUSINESS SCHOOL

Full Time Tenure-track Positions

The Department of Marketing at the NUS Business School invites applications for tenure- track faculty positions at the assistant professor level in Marketing, with a starting date of July 2021. In this recruiting cycle, we are primarily looking for empirical modelers (economics- or computer science- or statistics-based) with PhDs in marketing or related disciplines from leading institutions. However, we will also consider outstanding candidates in the consumer behavior and analytical modeling areas. Candidates who have already completed their PhD, or will do so before July 2021, are encouraged to apply.

The National University of Singapore (NUS) is a comprehensive research university that has been consistently ranked among the top 20 in the world, and in Asia, among the top 3 universities (i.e., #1 in the 2020 QS World University Rankings and #2 in the 2020 Times Higher Education World University Rankings). The University is structured and operates like a US university and teaching is done in English. The official language of Singapore is English.

The NUS Business School has extensive academic and industry links globally, and is particularly strong within the Asia-Pacific region. According to the latest Financial Times (FT) Rankings (2020), the NUS MBA is ranked globally at #15. The faculty members of the Marketing Department publish regularly in the top Business and Marketing journals (e.g., Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Marketing Science, Management Science), and beyond (e.g., Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Psychological Science), and also serve on the editorial boards of many of these journals. Faculty who have joined the Department in recent years include Teck Ho, Noah Lim, Leonard Lee, Yao Dai, Adelle Yang, Daniel He, Jeffrey Cai, and Min Kim.

Our renumeration package is internationally competitive, and the Department offers generous research support and a flexible teaching load. The Department has an active research seminar series and an established doctoral program.

Applicants should submit the following in electronic form (PDF file):

  • Cover letter
  • Full CV
