Senior Lecturer, Marketing
About the Role
As a Senior Lecturer, Marketing you will be expected to advance the school’s mission “to advance innovation, entrepreneurship and social impact through our career-ready graduates and industry-engaged research”.
You will be required to prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials and workshops and to assess students in the relevant business discipline both on campus and online. This includes making a significant contribution to the initiation and development of academic programs and working with the academic team in the development of program change and innovation. As a Senior Lecturer, Marketing you will also be expected to mentor and counsel students on academic matters and also supervise masters by research and PhD students.
A contribution to the School’s research output, income and impact is expected. You will assume administrative tasks associated with normal teaching duties and will also contribute to School management and administration generally.
You will be expected to participate in activities that foster and build further on existing links with government, business, communities and professions in Australia and internationally.
The Senior Lecturer, Marketing position will be within the Department of Management and Marketing. The department delivers high quality personalised education and fosters a strong research culture that includes international collaboration, competitive grants and high-quality publications. Ideally you will have expertise in teaching digital marketing and a strong knowledge of how new technology, like AI, impacts teaching and research.
