General Summary
The marketing department of the AACSB-accredited Haworth College of Business offers 6 unique degrees serving over 1,000 students: Marketing, Food Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales & Business Marketing, Advertising & Promotion, and Digital Marketing.


The Digital Marketing program is an innovative and applied training ground for students exploring and pursuing digital marketing careers. As one of the only digital marketing degree programs in the country, it features award-winning educators and curriculum, competition-winning students, as well as the only digital marketing student organization of its kind. The Digital Marketing program has recently tripled in size and faculty are anxious to support the program’s continued growth and innovative approaches.

Major Duties

  • Contribute to the strength of the Haworth College of Business and the Digital Marketing program by teaching undergraduate and graduate courses which may include Digital Marketing, Advanced Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, and Marketing Principles with the potential for innovative course creation (3/3 expected teaching load for PhD tenure-track faculty)
  • Conduct and publish impactful research in peer-reviewed marketing journals (PhD tenure-track faculty)
  • Advise students in career and college planning with potential for involvement in case competitions, digital marketing student organization, and new initiatives
  • Cultivate industry relationships and partnerships that contribute to the program’s mission
  • Serve on committees at the department, college, or university level.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business or related area, and extensive experience in digital marketing required for those without a PhD.
  • Or ABD in Marketing or related area from an AACSB-accredited institution.

Desired Qualifications

  • PhD in Marketing or related area from an AACSB-accredited institution.
  • Record of, or ability to publish results of research in quality, peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
  • Industry experience in Digital Marketing, especially eCommerce, Digital Marketing Analytics, Digital Advertising, or related field.
