The Norm Brodsky College of Business at the Rider University invites applications for a tenure-track Professor position in Marketing beginning Fall 2023. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field. ABDs with a clearly identified plan to complete their Ph.D. before the start date will also be considered.

The department is looking for candidates who will teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with expertise in Digital Analytics and Social Media Marketing. The responsibilities would include teaching, research, and service.

Teaching responsibilities would include developing and delivering new courses covering topics, including but not limited to Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Analysis, Digital Branding, Content Creation, and Lead Generation. The department encourages the integration of certifications in the new course designs. Other courses may include Digital Advertising and Social Media, Marketing Research, Principles of Marketing, and Business to Business Marketing. Ideally, the candidate should be experienced in developing and delivering courses in face-to-face and online scenarios.

Service responsibilities include advising students and meaningfully contributing to the progress of the department, college, and the university. For example, the department would like the new hires to support our AMA student club. In addition, the department strongly believes that a graduate offering in Digital Marketing is timely and would encourage the new hire’s involvement in creating and delivering a new graduate concentration in Marketing.

The candidate must demonstrate strong research skills with the potential to publish in Marketing or closely related areas.

Position Requirements: 
A Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field. ABDs with a clearly identified plan to complete their Ph.D. before the start date will also be considered.

Demonstrated interests and expertise in digital analytics and social media marketing.

Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
