The Department of Business at Illinois College invites applications for a full-time position in Marketing to begin Fall 2023. Candidates should have the ability to teach a variety of courses within the Marketing major in face-to-face and online formats while providing support for other majors in the Business department. Preference for ability and interest to teach Marketing Communications and Consumer Behavior. Additional duties include contributing to the ongoing development of the business programs at the College, including online teaching; student advising and mentoring; scholarly engagement; and community involvement. 

An understanding of, and appreciation for, the environment of a liberal arts college is essential, as is a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching required; professional marketing experience preferred. A terminal degree is preferred, but highly qualified master’s-prepared candidates with professional marketing experience will be considered for a continuing appointment (tenure-track appointment requires doctorate or ABD status).
