Michigan State University, Broad College of Business, Department of Marketing is seeking applications for an assistant/advanced assistant professor (tenure-system) position with primary responsibilities in research, teaching, and engaging in service activities for the academic discipline department. All areas of research in marketing will be considered, but we are particularly interested in candidates with research and teaching expertise in advanced econometrics, causal inference, machine learning, and artificial intelligence domains or other related fields such as computer science, economics, and statistics. A doctorate in marketing or related field is required as is a proven record in publishing in the leading marketing journals and teaching at an AACSB accredited university. The position will start in August 2023.

Applicants with research interests in any focal area of marketing research will be considered, although we have a preference for candidates with research expertise in advanced econometrics, causal inference, machine learning, and artificial intelligence domains. Preferred candidates will have 1-6 years of experience at the Assistant Professor level, although all levels of experience will be considered.

The Broad College has 125full-time faculty in five departments: Accounting and Information Systems, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management and one industry specific unit, The School of Hospitality Business.
