Job Description

The Department of Marketing (https://business.providence.edu/marketing/) in the School of Business at Providence College is seeking two (2) full-time, tenure-track faculty at the assistant professor rank commencing August 1, 2023. Candidates with interests in teaching digital marketing, integrated marketing communications, sales, service marketing, or advertising are especially encouraged to apply. As our student body grows increasingly diverse, experience and commitment to teaching and mentoring students from a range of economic, social, and cultural backgrounds is preferred. Essential Duties

Housed in the newly built Arthur F. and Patricia Ryan Center for Business Studies, the School of Business (https://business.providence.edu/) is an AACSB-accredited, fast-growing, innovative institution of higher learning committed to faculty and student excellence. The ideal candidate for this position will be committed to research, teaching, and service. A successful candidate will be expected to conduct scholarly research in his/her area of concentration consistent with the standards of AACSB, and engage in service activities for the School and the College.

The successful candidate may be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate marketing courses.

Education and Experience Required

A Ph.D. or D.B.A. in marketing or a closely related field, preferably from an AACSB-accredited institution, is required. ABD’s with anticipated completion at the time of appointment will also be considered.
