Assistant/Associate Professor of Business: Marketing
Carroll University seeks to hire a Assistant or Associate Professors of Business for the 2022-2023 academic year.
Carroll University School of Business is seeking candidates for tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Business positions specializing in Marketing. The successful candidate will begin Fall 2022 and will teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in their area of expertise. The ability to teach in and integrate technology and analytics would also be valued. To support online options, a proven ability to teach in that format is strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate success or the potential for excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. ABDs will be considered for tenure-track position, but a doctorate from an AACSB or equivalently accredited program within a specified time frame will be required for continuing employment.
All Carroll University faculty are expected to participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching effectiveness, to maintain currency in the discipline, and to grow as a leader. In addition, this position will be involved in service to the school and university through representation and meaningful participation on committees, student recruitment activities, quality initiatives, assessment activities, and accreditation reviews.
Rank and Salary: This position is full-time (9-month) faculty position. Candidates with a terminal degree will be considered for a tenure track position. Rank is open and is commensurate with prior experience. Candidates who have earned advanced rank at another institution will be considered for comparable appointment. Opportunities for summer teaching and project work are available, but not guaranteed. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
