The School of Business at Seton Hill University (SHU) invites applications for a full-time assistant professor position (tenure track) in Marketing beginning Fall 2021. The School of Business offers an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration, with specialization in entrepreneurial studies, human resource management, marketing, international organization, and information management. The school also offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and a Master’s in Business Administration. The successful candidate will teach four 3 credit courses in marketing and communication per semester in the undergraduate and graduate programs. The candidate will also be expected to participate in professional and program development, advising, outcomes assessment, scholarship and service activities for the university, community, and profession.

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have either (1) a Ph.D. in Marketing or Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) (2) a DBA with a specialty in Marketing, (3) a doctorate degree in a related discipline with experience in Marketing, Public Relations, or Advertising, (4) an ABD in marketing with close expected date of completion. Candidates with previous university teaching experience or equivalent professional experience are preferred. Applicants with experience using instructional technology instructional software, and Canvas, and ability to teach in traditional, blended, and online environments are preferred.
