The Department of Marketing and Logistics seeks applicants for tenure-track, academic year position/s as an Assistant Professor in Marketing. Faculty responsibilities may include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, research and publication, directing graduate projects and theses, participating in student recruitment, and interacting with the business community. The successful candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department, school, and university to develop and promote programs to students and the community. The Department of Marketing and Logistics offers a collegial environment that encourages collaborative research. We strive to provide outstanding leadership, innovation, and service to the marketing discipline and the campus. Specific assignments are dependent on departmental needs and the background of the individual.

Qualifications:

Required Education (from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent.):

  1. An earned doctorate (Ph.D. or DBA) in Marketing, Logistics, or a closely related discipline from an AACSB accredited institution is required.
  2. (ABD status within the last year) will be considered. For continued employment in the tenure track position, the doctorate must be completed by 08/1/2024.

Required Experience:

  1. Ability to demonstrate a commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds
  2. Demonstrated success in teaching excellence as an instructor of record at the undergraduate or graduate levels with experience or interest in teaching Principles of Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Analytics, and Logistics courses.
  3. Recent scholarly work in marketing or logistics, either through doctoral education or publication in peer-reviewed journals.
  4. Some experience or a track record of engagement with the business community.
  5. Some professional, managerial, or executive experience in Marketing or a closely related field.
