Position Description
The Department of Marketing in the McCoy College of Business Administration anticipates an opening at the rank of associate professor effective fall 2023.

Duties include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate marketing courses, with preference given to teaching consumer behavior, marketing research, services marketing and marketing management; conducting and publishing high-quality scholarly research; and providing service to the profession, service to the department, service to McCoy College and the university, and the business community that is consistent with the college mission. Teaching may occur in San Marcos and/or the Round Rock Campus or online. All positions are subject to availability of funds.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in marketing or closely related business field from an AACSB international accredited business school. Evidence of outstanding scholarly publications, teaching accomplishments, experience teaching marketing management, marketing research, services marketing and consumer behavior and service levels appropriate for rank of associate professor.

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who have published and provide evidence of ability to continue to publish in top marketing journals, such as those found on the Financial Times (FT) 50 journal list, teaching excellence at the graduate and undergraduate level, experience teaching marketing management, marketing research, services marketing, and consumer behavior and experience teaching in a Ph.D. program.
