The Department of Marketing in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for a Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor, Full-Time, career track position beginning August 2023.
Contribute to the school’s mission in the areas of teaching and service on the ASU West Campus with a focus on sports business. Participate in teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses and curriculum development related to sports business as well as marketing-related courses. Engage in service activities focused primarily on assisting with student engagement opportunities, student organizations, Honors theses, and other sports business activities on the West Campus in partnership with sports business faculty leadership in the Department of Marketing as well as participating on department/school, W. P. Carey School of Business, and/or University committees.

Clinical Assistant Professor – 1) A Ph.D. in Marketing, Business Administration or related field; 2) Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate level as evidenced by organization and communication skills or strong teaching evaluations; 3) A record of scholarship as evidenced by an active learning agenda, and/or papers or articles related to the marketing discipline or sports business.
Clinical Associate Professor – 1) Ph. D. in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; 2) The equivalent of 5 years of full-time teaching at a 4-year institution; 3) Demonstrated teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate level as evidenced by indicators such as strong teaching evaluations, course innovation, or organization and communication skills; 4) A record of scholarship as evidenced by professional and/or academic experience within the marketing profession or within sports business, an active learning agenda, and/or papers or articles.
1) Expertise in sports business and marketing; 2) Excellence in teaching courses in sports business and marketing; 3) Teaching experience in a variety of platforms, including in-person, online, graduate and undergraduate levels; 4) Evidence of ability to engage successfully with corporate partners and community organizations; and 5) Evidence of ability to innovate, work collaboratively to achieve goals, and inclusive practices.
