The College of Business at Eastern New Mexico University is an ACBSP accredited school that seeks candidates for a full-time non-tenure track Instructor of Marketing or a tenure track position as an Assistant Professor of Marketing. The candidate will have a primary interest in teaching in the field of marketing. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach in other areas of business especially strategy and capstone courses.
Candidates for the instructor position must have significant industry and/or teaching experience and either an MBA or a Master’s degree in Marketing. Candidates for Assistant Professor Position must have a terminal degree (Ph.D. or DBA) in a marketing discipline. ABD candidates may be considered. Faculty responsibilities include a 12 credit-hour teaching load per semester, student advising, and other duties as assigned. Publication is required for tenure. This is a residential appointment starting in August 2023, with the candidate expected to relocate to the Portales, New Mexico area. Work is performed during normal work hours but may require some evening or weekend hours. Work is sedentary in nature and may require exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
